Mag4you.com: What had inspired you in making music?
Hassan:
Nature, darkness and loneliness

Mag4you.com: How has your experience with Pakistani media been so far?
Hassan:
Not good, cause music is not acceptable in our society yet, I mean to say when a person ask you what is your profession and you told them I am a guitarist, "Son don't you have anything better to do?", that will be the question of your profession.

Mag4you.com: Your debut video "Satanic Dreams" is now being aired on music channels rather frequently. What's concept behind this video?
Hassan:
I all honest I don't want to give that video in a TV channels cause that an underground thing and it should be remain underground. The video is about a guy dreaming that satan is controlling him from his own place where he live and from there he is controlling the whole world, and the candle in the end is about he will be with us till the end of the judgment day.

Mag4you.com: A media revolution seems to be in session in Pakistan, Mostly through music. Would you say this applies to other fields of media as well?
Hassan:
well I want to tell one thing to all of you, we can't trust our media, cause sometimes music is banned and sometimes channels are banned, so what you going to do if music or cables will banned again in our country?

Mag4you.com: How far do you see Pakistani media extend itself?
Hassan:
Its doing a great job until the government is supporting it, I don't know what will happen when the other government will come and take charge of everything.

Mag4you.com: How importance a role does play in terms of national outlook? Do you see our media meeting all criteria?
Hassan:
I think the media is forgetting our culture they are copying our neighbor's culture, I think we got a good chance to show our culture through the media and to improve our image in abroad by showing and promoting our own culture, I really feel very bad that the media is not showing qawalis and folk songs, I love listening to quails cause most of the quails are about our religion and you can learn many things from that.

Mag4you.com: What flaws do you see in Pakistani media today?
Hassan:
Many. it will be a long list.

Mag4you.com: What about your music education?
Hassan:
None, I learned everything from websites.

Mag4you.com: Tell us about your music equipments?
Hassan:
I got phantom fly guitar, 2 acoustic guitar (power beat and Kay pock, boss effects processor.

Mag4you.com: Tell us about your recordings (describe your style and every recording)?
Hassan:
well... I don't make any plans and don't jam, my all tracks were composed and recorded live, means no jams no practice I just start playing while the recording was going on at the same time and after that I do the editing stuff. and the most interesting thing I forgotten most of the solo's in my track cause I don't listen to them after I complete my editing.

Mag4you.com: What we can expect from "Hassan Shirazi" in the future? Have you chalked out an entire plan? If so please to share it with us.
Hassan:
well...I don't want to do any more music in here cause its not a good profession in here and it will going to take 3-4 years for the listeners to grow up and start listening to mature stuff, I can give a good example of Pakistan's best guitarist "Faraz Anwer", he's been playing more than 10 years and people still don't know him, just give me a break man, he's still an unknown person, just go out on the streets and ask anyone you know Faraz Anwer? the answer will be who the hell is he? and then ask you know jawad ahmed? the answer will be yes man off course he is the coolest singer Of Pakistan. so what you think about me? I am nothing as compared to faraz, sometimes I think don't know how to play guitar when I listen to his instrumentals. SO my plan is to go abroad to study music and form a band there.
